MTSS Showcase 2026!

ARI Regional Statewide Staff met this quarter in Guntersville, Alabama. Region 3 really pulled together a great environment to CAST AWAY OUR CARES & AND REEL IN GOOD LEARNING.

After intense professional training and reflection, ARI regionals are unwinding with an excursion to the caverns! Guntersville has been a great location for our statewide regional staff work this quarter!

ARI & company wore purple on April 15th in honor of military children & to show support for their strength, resilience, & sacrifices (moving often, parent deployments). Purple symbolizes the combined colors of all military branches.

We have THE Reid Lyon live with our Education Preparation Program professors today. Dr. Reid Lyon is a notable neuroscientist and researcher who has impacted the work advancing the science of reading. What an honor!

THE Anita Archer opened the Literacy Reimagined Conference alongside Stephanie Stollar, Anne Whitney, Lucy Hart Paulson, and Laura Stewart. WHAT A LINEUP! It was a great day of learning. And the Alabama Reading Initiative will be the bringing the learning your way!

It’s a great day at Bryant Park Elem. in Jefferson County. Dr. Tiffany Davis, who supports schools, districts, and Educational Prep Programs, is with Dr. Shepherd from Samford Univ., as they observe, provide feedback, reflect on instruction, in a shared partnership.

More Certifed Academic Language Therapist (CALT) training is in action at the Birmingham office today. Green and growing!

The ARI was hosted by Wacoochee Elem. in Lee County for a great Leadership Lab where we witnessed the work of a principal and LRS with a focus on TRUST and ALIGNMENT. Every school we visit we see a new something special! These two were, to quote, “lightning in a bottle.”
