Traffic Alert 3:50 PM | ACFD responded to a 2‑vehicle collision on SB I‑880 south of Marina Blvd. in San Leandro. One patient was extricated with minor injuries. @CHPHayward

At 6:54 a.m. today, ACFD responded to a house fire in the 15000 block of Usher St. One occupant was rescued and transported to a hospital. Fire was knocked down in ~30 minutes. Cause under investigation.

🚒 ACFD Incident Update: On Feb. 2, 2026, crews quickly extinguished a big rig fire carrying produce on WB I‑80 in Emeryville. No injuries reported. The incident caused major traffic delays. 🚧

The Alameda County Fire Department (ACFD) would like community members to know that PulsePoint will be temporarily unavailable starting September 15, 2025, while we support an update to the Alameda County 9-1-1 dispatch center.

On September 13, 2025, the ACFD received word that a motorized cart used to transport equipment at the San Leandro Tower had been stolen overnight, along with other items. Thanks to the swift response and diligent work of the San Leandro Police Department, the cart was located.

On August 13, 2025, ACFD crews responded to a working fire in the 2600 block of Castro Valley Blvd. Heavy black smoke was visible as firefighters arrived on the scene. The fire was located in the rear of the building. Crews contained the blaze to a single building.
