About 70 kilometers east of Oaxaca City, high in the mountains, sits Hierve el Agua, a formation that looks like a massive waterfall frozen in time. Despite the appearance, it is not actually a waterfall. For thousands of years, mineral-rich spring water has slowly flowed over the cliff face, and the calcium carbonate in the water hardens on contact with the rock, gradually building the solid white “cascade” seen today. At the top of the cliffs, the same springs feed natural pools that sit along the edge at over 1,500 meters above sea level. From here, visitors get wide panoramic views of the surrounding valleys and rugged mountains of Oaxaca, creating one of the most unique natural landscapes in southern Mexico.

Son las mismas personas alrededor de donde se mudan los americanos que le suben el costo a todo para sacarles más dinero. Hasta con las artesanías lo hacen.
