He apologized to Lucas Denney, a Jan. 6 defendant who was delayed being brought to court for a detention hearing--just like he apologized to the WHCD defendant.

This *very same magistrate judge* publicly apologized four years ago to Jan. 6 defendant Lucas Denney after there was a delay in bringing him to court for a detention hearing.

DOJ's Civil Rights Division has taken over the investigation into Jan. 6 star witness Cassidy Hutchinson. Why would Judge Howell “love the idea” of Jack Smith filing an omnibus motion about executive privilege?
Because like everybody else, judges hate extra work.
An omnibus motion literally means dealing w/multiple witnesses in one motion instead of filing separate motions for each.
