It's a story about white nationalists helping out during Hurricane Helene, and the white nationalist they interviewed, Robert Rundo, was in prison at the time. Also, part of the conditions of his release is not to associate with any member of his former group, RAM. Weird.

60 Minutes really does the country a disservice when they fail to consider how the DHS mission scope includes infiltrating and running these groups and responding to natural disasters. And when FEMA doesn't have enough staff for disasters, they detail staff from other agencies.

This is insane. A 9:52pm order demanding an update by 7:30am? In what world does Judge Reyes seriously believe it will be possible to get a responsive answer from the client by then? This kind of stuff just smacks of performativity and bias, especially given how low stakes it is.

This is just stupid. She had the option to issue a TRO for 48 hours, and have a regularly scheduled hearing to hear from the Admin. about the claims being made. IT'S RIGHT THERE IN THE RULES!!!!!!! No need for this kind of nonsense and drama. But that's who she is.

I’m sorry this is ridiculous. Lawyers aren’t at the beck and call of judges. This isn’t some death penalty case! You can’t just file an order at 9 pm on a Sunday night and expect the lawyer to consult with their client and file a response by 7:30 am!

I only met Rudy Giuliani once. Shortly before the 2004 election, Rudy came to Columbia, Missouri, to stump for Matt Blunt for governor and for Bush to retain the presidency (since Missouri was a hotly contested battleground in 2004). I was living in central Missouri at the time, and was registered as member of the Reform Party, but my friend Dan was a hard-core volunteer for the Republicans, and he invited me to come to the Rudy rally in Columbia. I didn't follow Missouri politics closely, but Rudy was a huge name back then since his leadership after 9/11 was still fresh on everyone's minds, so I decided to go. We arrived early and managed to get spots near the stage. Then, since we were so early and bored, I suggested that Dan draw a 'Rudy for President in 2008' sign on the back of a Matt Blunt sign. He did, and I told him we'd try to get Rudy to autograph it if we got the chance. Eventually, Matt Blunt spoke, and Rudy spoke. The crowd cheered wildly as Rudy's finished his speech. Thinking we might only get one opportunity, I had Dan get on my shoulders, and he held out the makeshift Rudy sign while chanting 'Rudy for President.' Rudy saw the spectacle and laughed, and agreed to autograph the sign. I later joked that it was the first time Rudy officially endorsed his 2008 campaign for president. The last I knew, Dan was keeping that sign locked away as one of his prized possessions. A couple year ago, I had hoped to meet Rudy again at one of the Bedminster events I attended and share the story with him, but his schedule changed at the last minute and he was unable to attend.

@Nat_Ssha That's a strong claim from someone who hasn't investigated January 6 at all or reviewed verified findings of undercovers.

@FreeStateWill That’s a strong claim, but the January 6 events have been extensively investigated and there’s no credible evidence of a coordinated “fedsurrection.” It’s better to rely on verified findings rather than speculation.

Only if Trump proves that people in government were subverting him. Fail to prove the fedsurrection and Trump's legacy will suffer. It's sad that it's still true that I've identified more undercovers in the January 6 crowd than the entire Trump administration combined!
