Dear City Power Customers 10 July 2023 There has been a worrying increase in the level of electricity demand since morning due to significant drop in temperatures. This has put massive pressure on our network and resources, and we have started seeing a rise in the number of power trips triggered by overcurrent during this evening's peak hours. The implementation of loadshedding Stage 4 by Eskom does not help the situation. We appeal to customers to reduce consumption and use electricity sparingly to avoid facing outages for lengthier periods in this unforgiving weather condition.

This is about the 3rd time these repairs have failed. Totally unacceptable service from jhb water
