Meanwhile, Sam’s daughter, Elanor, has discovered a long-buried secret and is determined to uncover why the War of the Ring was very nearly lost before it even began." @cinemattie I admit I'm way behind on my Spielberg,but I feel he's always had this thing where, every once in a while, he would throw out a movie that has "non-canonical Spielberg" written all over it. 1941, ALWAYS, THE TERMINAL, THE BFG, maybe even AMISTAD? Or maybe hindsight is just 20/20.

I think it's weird to dig through someone's Letterboxd to find a rating you disagree with to try to invalidate their options, but I do think Eastwood, and AMERICAN SNIPER in particular, is not nearly as right wing as people like to portray.
