Small reminder for parent creators: Your family is not the obstacle to the work. They’re the reason the work needs better boundaries. Build systems that protect the life you’re trying to create.

The goal was never “automate life so I can work more.” The goal is: - automate the admin - reduce the chaos - protect the energy - have enough left for family, games, health, and the next good build

Sometimes the highest-ROI creator move is closing the laptop and playing something ridiculous with your kids. No funnel. No content angle. No optimization. Just being there. Weirdly, that’s also how you come back with better ideas.

A healthy creator system has to include recovery. Not as a reward after everything is done. As part of the operating model. If the system only works when you’re tired, behind, and slightly guilty, it’s not a system. It’s a trap.

This week I’m deliberately not optimizing every spare hour. I’m playing games with the family, resting, and letting the brain cool down a bit. Busy creators need systems, yes. But the point of buying back time is actually spending it.

I’m cleaning up the Notion weight dashboard so I can share it as a free template. It started as a personal fix for being stuck around 100kg. Now I’m turning it into something other busy people can use too. Follow if you want it when it drops.

I’m turning my weight tracking dashboard into a free Notion template. Before I finish it: What would make a health tracker actually useful for you? Charts? Daily checkboxes? Weekly review? A shame-free “reset today” button?

This is why I love Notion systems. They don’t replace discipline. They multiply it. Same with AI agents for content. Same with dashboards for health. The human still decides. The system reduces the drag.

5/ I’m packaging this as a free Notion template. If you want it when it’s ready, follow along. I’ll share the dashboard + the chart once I clean it up.

4/ The real benefit The dashboard does not lose the weight for me. It removes the fog. Once the fog is gone, the next action is much easier to choose.

Small personal win: I was sitting around 100kg. After about 1.5 weeks of tracking daily in Notion, I’m around 96kg. Not magic. Not advice. Just fewer places for my excuses to hide.

A good dashboard should not guilt-trip you. It should show you the pattern. For weight loss, mine answers one question every morning: “Is the trend moving the way I say I want it to?” Annoyingly useful.

My current weight-loss routine is not fancy. Every morning I enter 5 things into Notion: 1. weight 2. body fat % 3. BMI 4. bad food yesterday? 5. exercise yesterday? Takes 60 seconds. Hard to hide from a chart you update daily.

Question for busy creators: What personal struggle would get easier if you turned it into a simple system? Weight? Sleep? Content? Money? Consistency? I’m testing this on myself with a Notion weight dashboard right now.

Most people try to lose weight with motivation. I tried that too. Then I built a daily dashboard for: - weight - body fat % - BMI - bad food - exercise Suddenly the problem stopped being emotional. It became visible.

I was stuck around 100kg for way too long. Not because I didn’t know what to do. Because I wasn’t measuring the boring stuff every day. So I did what I always do when life gets messy: I turned the problem into a Notion system.
