@MarinaPurkiss It’s not a real loan. If you don’t earn enough to pay it off eventually, it is simply written off by the government. Everyone who has an axe to grind uses this policy as a grind stone. There are many real issues that need to be fixed. Better to focus on those.

If it’s such an important issue to you, as you are a Parliamentarian, perhaps you could just submit a request for a law change to your colleagues in the HoC. I’m sure it will be treated seriously, like the equally important activities previously proposed by Jacob Rees Mogg. Or, maybe not. Hopefully we have a rational government now that would give this intervention short shrift like all of the other ridiculous culture wars perpetuated by the last, woefully incompetent government.

What is it with these water bottles.The lid has to stay with it for recycling purposes. Is this another govn rule or EU rule. It's very annoying.
