Nice selection of finches visiting my West Kirby garden at the moment with up to 18 Greenfinch, 8 Goldfinch and small parties of Siskin dropping in and quickly moving on.

Late afternoon trip to Leasowe to look for Northern Wheatear with @SteveOnHilbre and @HERDOFHERDHALL , 2 males feeding in Hoopoe hollow, the single bird found earlier by Eddie Williams joined by another. Good numbers of Stonechat in the area too.
