Another kick in the teeth for the struggling fruit industry unable to meet input costs as it is. Unable to recoup from retailers this will lead to further growers giving up or not planting. No clue at the top!

@angusgowthorpe @JoeWStanley Well the data suggests that if they're allowed to be retreats for wildlife. Like they are now and are remunerated as that, then there would be no loss. This idea of trampling field margins into rural pavements is horrific.

@theladyfarmer We had this happen to us. People are extraordinary. The self entitled acts only get worse. They literally mowed right up to a fence, which they installed a gate into over a weekend without permission.
