Renters in England now have a raft of new rights including an end to no-fault evictions and rent rises limited to once a year. The Renters’ Rights Act is one of the government’s flagship pieces of legislation. Adrian, a renter, says he went through the "worst bout of depression" in his life after receiving a no-fault eviction in 2024.
