The oldest Albanian E-V13 subclade is currently E-FT17132: yfull.com/tree/E-FT17132/ (YFull tmrca at 2200ybp, FTDNA estimate would be higher). One of its medieval descendants would become the progenitor of the Kelmendi, who likely lived ~11-14cent in the Albanian Alps region.

Çamëria region: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chameria. The results are all from descendants of families that were expelled into Albania by the end of WWII.

@GjergjKastrio15 @Arbanas245936 @AlbanianDNA Do you have a book or a paper i could read on the topic? I'd be interested in reading about that since oral tradition from my family holds that we originated in Tetova before moving to Puka, Mirdita, and finally Lezha.

Stats for Kosovo Albanian families based on whether they belong to a clan, compared to neighboring populations. The two group stats show some difference, but both fall clearly within the Albanian regional variation range.

@GjergjKastrio15 @Arbanas245936 That's only the clan families. But there are also the families that don't have any clan tradition, and 75% of this smaller group have no Y-DNA matches in North Albania. Together they make up 40-45% of all Kosovo Albanian Y-DNA results so far.
