La ciencia es mejor que nunca, pero está más desafiada/comprometida que nunca… ¿cómo puede ser? El signo de los tiempos, y el enorme desafío que tenemos delante, queridos conciudadanos…

Mi mayor decepción laboral fue entender que no basta con hacer bien tu trabajo ni con amar lo que haces. A veces, si no encajas, no caes bien o no te alineas con el ego de quien lidera, todo tu esfuerzo deja de ser suficiente, incluso cuando cumples y das lo mejor de ti.

🧵Cuando trabajas años en un proyecto científico… y publican el paper sin ti. 1️⃣ Después de años en un grupo de investigación, acabo de descubrir que han publicado un paper con datos en los que trabajé directamente. Mi nombre no aparece. En ningún sitio.

Una investigación fue publicada sin incluir a un coautor clave. Silenciar contribuciones es faltar a la verdad. La integridad académica no se negocia. Yo defiendo el reconocimiento justo, la ética y el respeto profesional. Siempre. Mi solidaridad @cesarslevin

Mistakes to Avoid in Your PhD! 🚨 1️⃣ Not asking for help – Struggling in silence is a recipe for burnout. Ask your supervisor, peers, or online academic communities for advice. 2️⃣ Ignoring work-life balance – PhDs are marathons, not sprints. Burnout won’t help you finish faster—rest is productive too. 3️⃣ Waiting too long to write – Writing is thinking. Don’t wait until your final year to start drafting papers or your thesis. 4️⃣ Saying yes to everything – Conferences, collaborations, side projects… Great, but not at the cost of your research focus! 5️⃣ Not backing up your work – One tech failure can wipe out months of progress. Save everything in multiple places.
