What do you need to succeed as a day trader?

The lower the timeframe, the higher the noise. Retail traders spend 8 hours a day staring at the 1-minute or 5-minute charts, trying to guess the next candle. They get chopped out by intraday sweeps that mean absolutely nothing on the higher timeframe. As an EOD trader, my routine is simple: - Map key Weekly bias and Daily Supply/Demand zones during the weekend. - Set alerts outside the zones and walk away. - Check the charts once a day at 22:00 GMT (NY Close). - If there is a clean Daily close confirmation (PO3 or H4 shift), I execute. If not, I do nothing. Staring at charts doesn’t make the price move faster. It only makes you trade with your emotions, not your edge. Trade less. Filter the noise.

$GBPCHF just tapped cleanly into Daily Demand. The bullish Weekly Bias is fresh, and the structural matrix is perfectly aligned. Retail is already trying to catch the falling knife on the 5-minute chart. My process? I sit on my hands. I need to see institutional footprints before allocating capital. I am strictly waiting for a Mid-Week Institutional Sweep (MWIS) Daily close, or a clean H4 structural shift inside this box. No confirmation, no trade. We check back at 23:00 CET (NY Close). ⏳
