I’d honestly be quite happy with MOL as no.1 next season. He did a top job for us, 5 clean sheets in a row is brilliant for any keeper (last Albion keeper to do it was Russell Hoult). He might have been a budget option but he’s proved he’s a better keeper than that. #wba

Really interesting debate about the goalkeeper situation here. I personally believe we will need another keeper even if O’Leary stays as I only see Griffiths wanting to stay if he starts the season as no.1 (which I don’t see happening). #wba

@BOBBYB1987 In all fairness we’ve given minutes to Bostock, Mandy, Sule, Whitwell & Williams this season while in recent years playing Fellows, TGH, Griffiths, Palmer, O’Shea & Ferguson - while others have had mins and not cemented a place. There are pathways there these days.

@AlbionAnalysis We'll loan him out because people say he's not ready but then all we'll do is loan someone from villa or another prem side who isn't ready either. We constantly give chances to other teams youngsters and rarely our own

@SicknessWitness To be fair, he was only 18 then and has only just turned 19 - you do have to be careful of loaning players too young

@AlbionAnalysis Should have been out last season for at least 6 months , the utter shambles of the Summer transfer window meant he/we wasted precious development time.

@wozzer1963 Do you think he’s ready to start a third of league games next season?

@AlbionAnalysis Just do the obvious. Give him a start every 3/4 games. Put him on as a sub inbetween.
