Holocaust Memorial Day. As part of our @AlcesterAcademy GCSE History trip, we visit and reflect. It never gets easier. We remember the Holocaust, and the genocides that have followed, and why remembrance still matters and why it must be taught in our schools.

Mrs Sandells and Miss Bishop joined forces for a very festive year 8 tutor party with plenty of fun and karaoke 🎤 Wishing everyone in our @AlcesterAcademy community a very Merry Christmas!

This week Miss B and Mr R took @AlcesterAcademy Year 11 mock revision to a whole new level -factors on the tables and students filling the space with everything they know. Interactive, engaging, and seriously thought-provoking revision (don’t worry, it washes right off!)

On #RemembranceSunday, @AlcesterAcademy we remember not only the soldiers and civilians affected by war, but also the animals who carried, comforted, and served alongside them. We will remember them all. 🌺🐴🐕

Looking for support with KS4 History (AQA). Exams analysis shows our students are strong with longer essays/displaying knowledge but comparatively weak with source/ interpretation analysis. Has anyone had success with these skills & would be happy to share strategies? Pls share!
