@raboogaki Yeah this is the first spin off for the series! Glad they went a single player route with it cause I always enjoyed the story in the main games. Looks like you can still play with friends too, just not against each other! Will be super fun!!

I was just going on about how this game got announced and then we hadn’t heard anything in ages just for Nintendo to drop a whole trailer and release date on a random Tuesday. 😆 I am so stoked for this!!!

@AlcynaStrix Thank you Alcyna 🥹 Sometimes I feel like I have too many ambitions, but it’s fun that Vtubing doesn’t put limitations on what you can try!

Honestly…? No! But hear me out 🙇‍♀️ I wouldn’t stream 8 hours a day regularly for ANY amount of money. 3-5 hours 3x per week is my sweet spot! At least for me, there’s a LOT more that goes into what I do than hitting the “Go Live” button, and that’s only becoming more true as time goes on. Yes, streaming is my favorite part. But combine that with all of the prep I do, the Discord server I run (and participate in!), plus the fact that I make most of my own art adds up to MORE than 8 hours a day. And I’m just getting started! If I streamed 8 hours every day, where would I have time to fit these activities? When would I spend time with my family or friends? When would I take time to recharge? As it stands, free time is already limited. Unless you want the act of streaming to be the ONLY thing you do, or you have a team of people behind you that can handle the peripheral tasks, I wouldn’t take this deal.

@DefStamina That is what I keep saying is I will end up streaming two hours of me sweating over the Mii creation LOL! Honestly would probably just make Miis of random fictional characters from games I have streamed or other properties I enjoy.

@AlcynaStrix I think you would enjoy it. It just depends on who you would create to make entertaining content out of it. Not to mention that you could spend literally hours just in the character customization.

So what I am gathering from my feed is that I do, in fact, *NEED* Tomodachi Life. 🤔

There's so much Vtuber advice on my TL, and a lot of it is SUPER helpful but also overwhelming sometimes? 😅 It's hard to not feel like you're doing something "wrong" or not doing "enough" in Vtubing. Even though I'm not approaching this as a career, I still want to do well! 🥹

@raboogaki For sure! Everyone has a different journey. But it is so valid to feel lost sometimes! I like to try to focus on one thing I want to improve on for myself, but I get easily distracted by the voices telling me ten other things to focus on too lol. 😆

@AlcynaStrix I swear I feel both more grounded as a Vtuber after 1 year, but also equally as lost?? 😖 The good news is I don’t think there’s any one way to go about things! Experimentation is half the fun 🤍

My goals for my next year of streaming: More collabs! Make shorts! Keep up with stream graphics! 😤 This first year streaming has been a great learning experience -- but there's always more to learn! And the good news is it's never a race.✌️

I wanted to become more comfy with talking and meeting new people, and loved the creative outlet that Vtubing provides! I'd wanted to stream for ages but kept holding myself back, till I finally decided to do it! Now I've gotten to meet and hang out with so many cool people!💚
