Aldershot and Farnborough have been chosen to host National Armed Forces Day next summer, following a bid by the council and Aldershot MP Alex Baker. To celebrate, children from Talavera Junior School, Aldershot, had a special visit from the British Armed Forces this morning.

Our open-top bus parade this evening has been delayed by half an hour and will now start at 7pm. Unfortunately we've been hit with some unforeseen circumstances, but all plans will still be going ahead - just 30 minutes later! The tour, which will begin and end at the EBB Stadium, will give supporters and residents a chance to both celebrate with the squad, and see the silverware for themselves, up close and personal. The bus will travel through a predetermined route through the town of Aldershot, with those in support encouraged to watch on from where they please. Following the journey, we also welcome supporters to remain at the EBB Stadium for a further trophy presentation. The route, approximate timings, and itinerary are as follows: 18:00 - The EBB Stadium opens to supporters with the Hogs Back East Bank Bar and North Stand Burger Van open. 19:00 - Open top bus to depart EBB Stadium with players and staff on board.   19:45 - Coach returns to EBB Stadium, players/staff disembark. 20:00 - Trophy presentation will start at approximately this time. There will be no parking available at the EBB Stadium to supporters. All entrance will be via the Side Gate off of Ordnance Road or the Front Gate on the High Street next to the Buddhist Temple. For the trophy presentation at 8pm, once the players and staff return to the EBB Stadium, all supporters MUST be on the pitch. Unfortunately, for regulatory reasons, we cannot open the stands and therefore, the players and staff will be presenting the trophy in the Director's Box with all supporters on the pitch. Stewards will be in attendance and able to help direct you should this be necessary. The event will finish at 9pm, the Hogs Back Builders East Bank Bar will be open and the Burger Van opposite the North Stand will be open.
