So I wrote a post saying what’s happening in the West Bank is apartheid, and then Shai Davidai responded, and his “gotcha” argument for why it’s not apartheid is that actually Jews and Palestinians live apart from each other. Hmmm, I wonder how one might say “apart” in Afrikaans.

Meanwhile, China, which lives in the real world, is responding to the shock by tapping strategic reserves, reducing dependencies, and finding alternative supply.
