@LadyPelvic I will say if you can get to daybreak it's a nice palette cleanser but if you go expecting cold steel systems again you'll be disappointed. It feels fresh though, like how sky 1 or crossbell 1 felt. New place, new area, new babies etc. felt much needed after 5 games

@LadyPelvic I agree with a lot of your issues. I also think doing the entire cold steel arc is a marathon that can sap your joy of the series. Reverie learns from CS4, as does daybreak and Horizon in the "bloat" and how to better use people in and out of the plot imo.

Yesterday made me think. We have a real problem in the Trails fandom. How can we fix it? These are games with such positive messages, but the discourse is being hogged by very toxic, very sick people. I want them out of my fandom, because I don't want to be associated with them. But I don't want to necessarily be a gatekeeper, either. How can we fix it?

I swear if I had a dollar for everytime Cold Steel 4 says "only people of age can drink" I think I'd have like 100 dollars. It's not a lot, but it's not nothing either. This game wants you to know it does not condone underage drinking...but we all know Ash is poundin' 'em back.

@LadyPelvic I finished octopath 0 and I loved it so much I decided to give octopath 1 another go. Just finished off everyone's chapter 2. Its a bit of a slog but there's enough 'fun' character chapters to get me to the end I reckon.

In Cold Steel 4 the women either have REALLY big boobs, or no boobs. There is no inbetween.

@TwilightSomnus Good arc overall - harem insistence goes into overdrive past amusing to alarming by the end of it. Overshadows all personal growth and arcs of so many characters for LOLOL GIRLS LOLOL but it's still a nice time to play.

After what's felt like a lifetime to get to this point I'm finally starting Cold Steel tonight. So excited beyond words for this arc. Based off what I've heard of these characters I've never been more convinced I'll click with something. New tag to mute for spoilers is #CSErick

@Noctowlkyo The best part of Crossbell is that because it's such a compact arc - compared to sky and steel taking you so many places, the NPC game is the best it's been in the series next to Daybreak. Because its always them you see and the effect they have is always obvious.

Regardless of your feelings on the Wheel of Time tv series I think we can all agree it should be illegal to cast Shohreh Aghdashloo in anything and then cancel it. The fucking nerve. This woman is iconic.
