I have had a fun second day with Will Templeton. We spent most of the day on campus developing imagery of the ECOMIX sampling kit and the laboratory work. We also fitted in a trip to the river Foss.

I had a lovely afternoon at the University graduation ceremony today watching @AleBou4 being awarded a well-deserved PhD for her research into the environmental risks of pharmaceuticals. BBC Radio 1's @gregjames received an honorary doctorate and gave an excellent speech.

After a couple of days in Prague and Salzburg I’ve made it to SETAC Vienna! I’m excited to present a poster and poster corner on Monday on our work monitoring and effects of UV-filters on diverse algal species as part of the ECOMIX project ☀️🧴

I’m also excited to present on Tuesday some of my PhD work on the evaluation of antibiotic mixtures through the SELECT assay and risk assessment of antibiotics in the world’s rivers! 🦠💊

There are also posters throughout the week, so keep an eye out! One of them is Martha’s work on the modelling of chemical mixtures for assessing the impact on freshwater biodiversity (3.15.P-Th240)
