i feel like i haven’t updated that much so i have a story for you today; sorry for the long post. on my birthday in 2020 i signed my first record deal with def jam and my entire life as i knew it changed. i moved to beverly hills, i had my own house for a bit, my music was evolving, and i was never more financially secure in my life. although i didn’t get to release a ton of music, it made for plenty amazing moments and huge strides in my personal growth. in 2022 i got dropped and i felt crushed for a long time. the plays slowed, the money was gone, the opportunities seemed to fizzle, and i felt like i failed at the one thing i wanted to be good at. in 2023 i dropped an album and i decided that despite my overwhelming debt and declining mental state i would move to LA as a final push. right now i’m sitting at the end of 2023 on my street, greatful to be alive to see the new year but still feeling as if i’m in the same position i was in by the end of 2019. feeling like i want to give up and admit defeat. but i won’t, and you shouldn’t either. new music all 2024. i’ll see you there.

there’s a whole village who made this possible, but I want to specially appreciate three: 1/ @Tomisin_Akins (event producer), 2/ @AlecLomami (team), & 3/ @kyanekassiri whose invite to perform at his wedding in Tunis kickstarted all of this (couldn’t get a visa lol 🇳🇬😔)
