@HotakaTae if you're not familiar with the characters your reaction when most of these cards are played is probably some deadpan "ok", and if you are familiar, your reaction is "that's it???"

@HotakaTae Ignoring how they ripped away all the unique card flavor from classic (Drache literally invented an archetype), they shoved all the characters that could have had interactions into 2-3 duo/trio cards and a lot of them are just spells.

As someone who has not played the first Shadowverse, I really don't think this expansion did a lot for the characters and story. The past two expansions have had cards that made me want to look deeper into them because they kind of all tied together. This new patch, everyone is just there? I also only now learned a lot of cards are not even from the first Shadowverse, but Rage of Bahamut? I hope this expansion is better for those who played the first Shadowverse, and it provides some good time to see the characters! It just did not get me to care about any of the characters from the first Shadowverse, or really any of their stories. The actual gameplay is amazing! I love the new cards bringing a lot of variety! Story wise though, I was kind of disappointed.

@Niper777LOL -to clear boards that are otherwise impossible to answer such as t6 cesar, t6/7 sham+cong in the mirror, buffed ambushes vs forest, evo haven shenanigans or super wide Imari boards.

@Niper777LOL I used it to clear the board against artifact without playing I&T because I was at 19hp and I wanted to be very careful about using my heals. I also used it vs dragon as a wincon because I wasn't sure I could outheal forever. However, the real reason I run him is-

SVO 2026 AMEU: Season 2 Preliminary 1 6-0: Mode Abyss 6-0 Lishenna Portal 6-0 This Mode list is perhaps the most defensive deck I've ever played and I love it. The Egg list on the other hand can go surprisingly aggro with a good early game hand into Axia SEvo and storms.

step 1: evolve suzy and buff medusa step 2: corruption step 3: sevo laura and get a 6 attack medusa (18 damage plus 2 from corruption) alternatively, have laura in the graveyard and sevo charon, then play the buffed medusa with hark ebb and flow seems busted btw
