I always like seeing the people I referee in Intramurals come up as suggested connections on LinkedIn. Sure, you can advertise yourself to be a young professional in an industry you're passionate about, but when the game is on the line I know who you really are.

One thing I miss about the 90s and 2000s and the part of the 2010s is that every 2 years tech just got better. Games looked remarkably better, the systems you would buy would be significantly better. Honestly at this point I can barely tell the difference, performance wise, for the last 5 years.

This is beyond shameful! Jaxon Hayes has absolutely ZERO connection to Slovenia. He has never played in Slovenia, never lived in Slovenia & has NO Slovenian heritage. Slovenia has provided Hayes with citizenship due to “national interest”. Essentially, Slovenia has decided to give Hayes a passport purely because it benefits their national Basketball program. It would be no different to Australia giving citizenship to a guy like Jaylen Brown just so he can play for the Boomers. It is disgusting that there are reports suggesting Kyrie Irving, who was born in Melbourne, would be ineligible to play for Australia, while Jaxon Hayes gets the green light to play for Slovenia. @FIBA It would be disgraceful to let this go through & undermines the purpose of national sports - and for Slovenia, takes a spot away from a deserving Slovenian player.

Slovenian connection loading 🇸🇮🔥 Jaxson Hayes is now officially eligible to suit up for Slovenia alongside Luka Dončić 🏀💪 “My Slovenian brother” 🤝 — looks like Luka’s already claimed him 👀 Olympics, World Cup, EuroBasket… this duo could be dangerous 😤 #basketball #nba #slovenia #lukadoncic #jaxsonhayes #fiba #hoops

@DamienPetersNBA Why do people say Brunson is clutch. He won a made up regular season award about it? Ok but every time he's needed to be clutch against the great teams in the playoffs he fails just look at every year in the playoffs. He's amazing at foul baiting and losing to the Pacers

The beautiful thing about the playoffs is it challenges how you think about the game. You can find yourself reevaluating everything. Every ounce of me thinks Jalen Brunson is a better basketball player than CJ McCollum. It all makes sense. He’s more productive in the regular season. He’s a perennial All-Star. He’s proved it in the playoffs. He’s one of leading clutch players in the league. There are several nuances, the list goes on. But when I watch this Knicks-Hawks series. I frequently sit there ask myself what ACTUALLY makes him better? I know the reasons why, but my brain is challenging what the ACTUAL gap is between them player for player when everything is on the line. No narratives, no agendas, just objective analysis. You start thinking about attributes, and situation, and responsibility, and team makeup, and numbers and data and everything humanly possible. I found myself venturing down similar shades of thinking a decade ago when Kyrie Irving was matched up with Steph Curry in the NBA Finals. Ultimately you may land on the same conclusion anyway, but the playoffs are so special because it challenges everything you think you know and believe about the game.

Nico Hoerner continues his torrid start. Hits his 4th home run of the season. He had 7 in all of 2025. 7 in 2024 as well. Phillies staring at what would be their 7th loss in a row. The Cubs their 7th win in a row. Its 4-1 in the 7th.

Hopefully this isn’t controversial, but if I’m paying for a streaming service, there shouldn’t be ads period. Not on Disney+, Amazon, Hulu, none of it. Ads belong on free versions of these platforms. If advertisers are already paying to run their ads, why am I also paying to watch them?
