⚙️ Weekly Dev Update 🛠 gm builders. It may be autumn, but our work-rate doesn't fall… 🍂 There’s nothing stopping the momentum being made by our dev team, all relentlessly coding, fixing, building, improving, progressing, launching, programming, and collaborating to push the Alephium mission forward. 🗺️ Roadmap ➔ Reviewed and prepared the new roadmap for publishing. 📱 Mobile Wallet ➔ Made multiple iOS fixes, including the recovery phrase import process, black screen error after the recovery phrase modal was dismissed, and recovery phrase verification. ➣ Released version v2.4.2. 🧩 Core dApp ➔ Onboarded @_nop33 to the team (thanks again to @hongchao for the coordination). 🌉 Bridge ➔ Ironed out final details and fixed remaining bugs. 🧩 Extension Wallet ➔ Fixed the issue causing auto-connect problems after a browser refresh for groupless addresses. ⚙️ SDK ➔ Deprecated alph_requestNodeApi and alph_requestExplorerApi in WalletConnect and switched to local providers instead, which has significantly reduced traffic through the WalletConnect connection. 👷 Infra ➔ Released a new Guardian version for Bridge Guardians. 🌞 Core dApp ➔ Fixed a few edge case issues that occurred when adding Concentrated Liquidity Market Maker (CLMM) positions. ➣ Started working on features for managing existing positions. ➲ Researched and designed the necessary staking contracts. Another week of building with conviction. Perhaps more than ever, considering industry events. The trajectory is clear: Alephium is building for longevity. $ALPH

⚙️ Weekly Dev Update 🛠 From building out the new Roadmap to accelerating our Core dApp integration, every action is intended to reinforce Alephium’s status as a secure, resilient foundation for builders. Forget the noise. Look at the level of production. 🗺️ Roadmap ➔ Completed implementation of the new roadmap (now under internal review). ➣ Added multiple navigational categories (tabs) for a clearer user experience. ➲ Connected the roadmap directly to our Content Management System (CMS) for easy and rapid updates. 📱 Mobile Wallet ➔ Released Mobile Wallet v2.4.1. ➣ Updated iPad App Store screenshots. ➲ Investigated a persistent issue concerning seed import (work is ongoing). 🧩 Core dApp ➔ Onboarded the front-end team to the project (shoutout @hongchao). ➣ Updated the README documentation and improved development tooling to ease future front-end work. 🌉 Bridge ➔ Adapted the Bridge layout to provide a significantly better mobile user experience. 🎨 Design & Visuals ➔ Created new visuals for an upcoming article and planned social media posts. 🧬 Full Node ➔ Created a Pull Request (PR) to run the full node using GraalVM, optimizing performance. 🌉 Bridge ➔ Reduced the low balance warning threshold to improve the user experience. ➣ Improved the underlying Bridge guardian infrastructure. ⚙️ SDK ➔ Configured the system to skip Ralph unit tests during contract deployment for faster processing. 🌞 Core dApp ➔ Continued rigorous testing and fixed issues within the main user flows. ➣ Integrated the frontend team's expertise to refine the Core dApp's User Experience (UX). ⚙️ Weekly Dev Update 🛠 ✅ Another big round of updates to report this week, with major strides made in stability, performance, UI, and more. Development is essential for a robust foundation. Dive into the updates below 👇 🌉 Bridge ➔ Completed the redesign of the token registration flow. ➣ Cleaned up the underlying code for improved stability. ➲ Collected valuable feedback from community testers to finalize the update. 📱 Mobile Wallet ➔ Published versions v2.4.0 (staged rollout) and v2.4.1 (beta). ➣ Fixed the issue of missing tokens caused by temporary GitHub API errors. ➲ Adjusted screen brightness automatically when displaying QR codes for better scanning. ➢ Added a warning when users scan the incorrect type of QR code for wallet import from the Desktop Wallet. ✚ Fixed the size of the splash screen logo specifically on Android devices. 🖥️ Desktop Wallet ➔ Released version v3.2.0 after successfully resolving outstanding macOS certificate issues. 🌐 Website ➔ Updated and deployed the new Grants page. ➣ Refined the new roadmap layout and started implementation. ➲ Hid the scrollbar in the table of contents on news posts for a cleaner look. ➢ Increased the default font size of news posts on mobile devices for better readability. ✚ Used the post's main image as the Open Graph image (improving social media previews). ✷ Added a feature to select and display related posts in the CMS and at the bottom of news posts. 🌸 Misc ➔ Created an illustration for @carlitacrypto_'s article on 1m TPS. ➣ Designed a paper leaflet for @BigPepGhost’s upcoming talk at @ChainCulture in Malaysia. 🧬 Full Node ➔ Continued work on running the full node with Scala Native for potential performance and efficiency gains. 🧩 Extension Wallet ➔ Released v0.9.27, which now supports the option to sweep $ALPH only. 🌉 Bridge ➔ Merged support for Groupless Addresses into the main codebase. ➣ Updated the user interface to correctly display all available @Alephium tokens. 🌞 Core dApp ➔ Testing and fixing issues identified across the main user flows. This week, our teams delivered crucial updates across the board, from a major Mobile Wallet upgrade to preparing the Core dApp referral system. Dive into the updates below 👇 📱 Mobile Wallet ➔ Released new versions: v2.3.3 (beta) and v2.4.0 (internal testing). ➣ Completed a major update to our React Native framework, upgrading from Expo 52 to 53. ➲ Fixed several key issues regarding wallet import, dApp disconnection, and improved the pasting experience. ➢ Improved the performance and stability of data fetching by adding better management for our query cache. ➥ Enhanced address handling with features like easier access to the explorer, warnings for unknown addresses, better contact management, and clearer display of the latest activity. 🧠 Both Wallets ➔ Fixed a bug that prevented NFTs from displaying correctly immediately after they were minted. 🌐 All Apps ➔ Upgraded our foundational library from React 18 to React 19. 🧩 SDK ➔ Released v2.0.5 with various improvements. ➣ Updated our package for the token list. ➲ Improved mobile support by renaming a connector and disabling a feature that caused unnecessary redirects when using WalletConnect deeplinks. 🌉 Bridge ➔ Redesigned the user flow for registering new tokens. ➣ The updated Bridge has been deployed on the mainnet for internal testing. ➲ Continuing to refine the visual design, layout, bug fixes, and small interactive details. 🌐 Website & Docs ➔ Added a feature to archive older posts while keeping them accessible in a dedicated highlights section. ➣ Made improvements to SEO, teaser texts, and content headers to improve discoverability and readability. 🌸 Misc ➔ Created an illustration for an upcoming article. ➣ Made various improvements to our internal design system. 🧬 Full Node ➔ Added support for the sweepAlphOnly option in the sweep endpoint, allowing for more specific fund transfers. ➣ Experimenting with running the Full Node on Scala native for potential performance benefits. 🧩 Extension Wallet ➔ Released v0.9.26, which fixes an issue that occurred when creating Schnorr accounts. 🌞 Core dApp ➔ Added support for the referral feature to function correctly during multi-hop swaps. ➣ Continuing the smooth integration process between the backend and frontend. 🇸🇬 Misc ➔ Attended @TOKEN2049 in Singapore for networking and community engagement.
