for the technically inclined:
i'm doing a server migration (moving hosts!) + db migration (moving to your typical relational db setup) to reduce cost + improve performance.
this should provide additional capacity to add probably 10-15 more artists without increasing cost.

@magdaleneportal "try the app" is an anonymous account - once you log out or delete it, it's lost to time.
to store your settings and have them persist across sessions/devices, log in with google or apple
(that being said, newer versions of the app have much better support for things)

@AlertsForMerch was there a glitch with the app today? i hadn't gotten any alerts in a while and i opened the app today and it asked me to sign in and i pressed try the app and all my subscriptions were gone?

@leylaamarynn in short there are a lot of you now and so the thing fell over because it ran out of memory 😭
(trust me, i was bummed when I saw what happened)
should be fixed now though, i've shuffled artists around and made some optimizations to the code
