I’ve been married for five years, and my wife does most of the cooking and cleaning. I hardly do those things.
Why? Because she cooks three types of meals on the weekend that last from Monday to Friday.
She only does laundry on weekends. She only cleans on weekends.
We also do our shopping only on weekends.
I had to help create these routines for her because she kept complaining about the “mental load” crap.
Women create a lot of this mental load for themselves and then complain that motherhood is hard. No, you made motherhood hard on yourselves.
She doesn’t have to deep-clean the floor late at night. She can do it tomorrow.
She doesn’t have to do laundry late at night either. Laundry can even be done on the weekend.
She doesn’t have to wash the dishes immediately; they can wait until tomorrow.

To all Muslim friends — and all foreigners who think we are weird for this:
When Japanese people eat basashi (horse sashimi / raw horse meat), many of us do something that surprises foreigners…
We eat it raw.
And then eat it raw again.
And honestly, the slightly frozen, cold texture is the best part.
Sometimes with soy sauce, ginger, or garlic.
Foreign friends:
“Wait… horse?! And raw?! You seriously don’t cook it?!”
Yes.
And there is actually a surprisingly serious reason.
Basashi is
very delicate,
slightly sweet,
and surprisingly refreshing.
The fat is light,
the lean meat has deep umami,
and although unique, it has very little gamey taste.
Then — what may look like total chaos to foreigners —
some people eat it cold,
dip it in soy sauce,
and enjoy it with ginger or garlic.
Yes.
Raw horse meat.
Cold sashimi.
Soy sauce.
And somehow… it tastes amazing 😂
This is not weird behavior.
We are not crazy.
Japanese people are just absurdly serious about rice and food.
This is Japanese culture.
And something we take pride in.
So let me ask:
Does your country also have a food culture that makes foreigners go,
“Wait… WHAT?!” 😂

@GigglingGanon So you kinda didnt tell the truth when you said you’re only recording because he flipped you off. You’ve gone to multiple facilities to record people, not recording because a guy flipped you off.

Facility manager brings out her unhinged substance abuse team to tell people that her rules trump your rights.
We are in
Oak Harbor, Washington, on Whidbey Island for this one.
The confrontation occurred outside Island Assessment and Counseling. It's funny how often you get people like this that feel like their feeling outweigh the rights of others.
You can see the moment that she is starting to realize that she is not getting what she wants from the police, so she starts to dig for something by claiming he had knife. Either way she was forced to do the walk of shame.

Join me for my entertaining bodycam and police interaction videos. I share multiple daily for entertainment and educational purposes. Each video is edited down from raw footage that could be multiple hours in some cases to entertaining under ten min clips. Case info is also researched and added to the caption to give the story beyond just the video. Please share below if there is a specific topic you would like to see more or less of below.

@MKillerrabbit @TheEbonyMaw But no carrot and you the horse are scared by carrot and confused by carrot

One of the saddest things I discovered as a parent is that the stick works better than the carrot 9 times out of 10.
I wish this wasn’t the case, but in my experience, threat of punishment is a SIGNIFICANTLY more effective motivator than offering a reward.
I still prefer offering rewards, so they’re often my first go-to, but I have to be honest. Despite what passes for modern wisdom, it’s just not as effective as negative consequences.
