Here’s the full matchup list for the second day of the #LIVGolf Team Championship! Pivotsl matches for the day: 𝐁𝐫𝐲𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐯𝐬. 𝐊𝐚𝐲𝐦𝐞𝐫 I think these teams are surprisingly well matched. Blandy looked to be in great form yesterday as he disposed of Leish 4&3. Similarly, the foursomes pairing of Graeme and Bernd are buzzing and have some momentum. I see these two matches being split and the captain’s match being the big decider. Kaymer is certainly outmatched here but he looked GREAT vs Cam yesterday. Birdied the last 3 to force a playoff. Didn’t get the win but really looked good. On paper Bryson would be the heavy favorite but Kaymer’s no slouch here. 𝐆𝐨𝐨𝐜𝐡 𝐯𝐬. 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐚 These two teams are so well matched. I think the captains match and alternate shot could truly go either way, so we’ll assume they split. Similar to the Bryson match Gooch obviously outmatches Chacarra on paper but Chacarra just shellacked Horsfield 6&5. Looked fantastic and seems to love the match play. Also I think it’s an advantage to have played a competitive round on this course yesterday, the 1-4 seeds didn’t get that. From talking with players they seem split on this but I’d certainly have preferred to have played yesterday. Should be another fantastic day with this format.
