Today our police department was involved in two major incidents in our City. One of our police officers was shot and hurt in the earlier incident. I visited him in the hospital and he is in stable condition. Please keep our police officers and their families in your prayers.

Shooting update. The suspect was arrested. No other suspects involved. Area still closed for an extended period for the investigation. HPD Officer who was shot is awake and alert. @LASDHQ is leading the investigation and will put out more info later.
