This is not an FU and not a V4 cabinet. The stalls are already V4, but this location, like all others with V4 stalls, is a V3.5 cabinet, meaning they only support up to, like, 325kW (locked to 250kW in Europe) This cabinet in the Tesla picture can do up to 500kW in the 8 stall configuration for cars.

Germany appears mainly cautious and hesitant when it comes to FSD Supervised. I don’t understand why Germany is making things so difficult with bureaucracy around FSD Supervised. Why slow down this technology when the driver remains responsible? A letter from the German Ministry states that Germany is still reviewing the information and has not yet taken a final position. The Dutch RDW has already informed the European Commission and EU member states about a provisional EU type approval. Germany refers to a safety-oriented approach, is not publishing details of the evaluation, and is still working on its position for the upcoming TCMV vote. This sounds mainly cautious and hesitant.

The retrofit worked, no issues. First Model Y with a cooled wireless charger! No QI2/faster charging on the iPhone but it does not boil the phone even when it is 30 degrees outside. The fan kicks in, it is not audible especially with the air conditioning and seat cooling. The coding can't be done with Toolbox (no clue why, it is greyed out...) but it can be done since it is not a secure parameter (for now, they can change this if we end up buying all their YL charger inventory) Well worth it, when YL parts availability improves a bit it'll be a no brainer. I think they'll start fitting those chargers in the factory soon. I'll take a look at the Highland next, if the OEM charger has the same PN as the Y it should fit. The trim is different and I'd need to take out the center console to fit it but it worth it.

On n’en parle guère, mais ce 2 juin va commencer en France le débat public à propos du FCC, le futur collisionneur circulaire de 90,7 kilomètres de circonférence, qui pourrait être construit sous la surface de la Suisse (canton de Genève) et de la France (Ain et Haute-Savoie). Dans un peu plus de vingt ans, il permettrait de réaliser des collisions d’électrons de haute énergie, et plus tard des collisions de protons. Les débats vont durer plusieurs mois. Ce devrait être l’occasion d’expliquer, entre autres choses, ce que font les physiciens des particules, ce qu’ils savent et ce qu’ils savent ne pas savoir… @CERN

Article 39 gives countries the option to act nationally instead of waiting endlessly for bureaucracy. Europe should not delay innovation and road safety while others are already taking action. Citizens deserve access to safer driving technology now. 🚗
