Fylde Coast Football extended their lead at the top of 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗢𝗻𝗲 to three points having overcome 3-1 at home, the game was poised at 1-1 at the interval. Astley & Buckshaw Utd are up to third, they defeated SRDC (Purples) 1-0 away from home thanks to a second half Joel Chester goal and Lonsdale Casuals beat second-place Burscough Villa 2-1.
With leaders Chorley Wanderers (Blues) not in league action, Greenlands took the opportunity to close the gap at the 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗧𝘄𝗼 summit to four points after they beat Midgery Court 3-1. Penwortham St Teresa's (Yellows) are third, Jake Storry contributed a hat-trick to a 6-1 away win at BAE Warton. Fourth are Parkfield Ants, they won 6-2 at home against St. Annes (Rangers). The remaining two games were both 2-0, Gregson Lane won at home against SRDC (Blues) and Theatre Boys triumphed away at FC Bartle.
The top three in 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗲 are now Penwortham St Teresa's (Whites), Moor Park Utd and Buckshaw (Reds). Penwortham St Teresa's won at home against Ashton Villa, Moor Park won on the road at Kirkham Seniors and Buckshaw (Reds) were impressive against Penwortham Town.
With 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗿 leaders AFC Horwich not in league action, second-placed Whittle could only reduced the deficit by a point as they were held to a 1-1 draw at home against Brookfield. In the two games at Frenchwood Park, Buckshaw won away versus AFC Bamber and AFC Sherwood overcame Freckleton (U23) 4-3. Sporting Euxton won 4-2 at Chorley Rovers.
With April fast approaching, several important cup games took place.
In the 𝗦𝘆𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗧𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝗖𝘂𝗽, Fulwood & Broughton and Wyresdale Rangers are through to the Semi-Finals. Fulwood & Broughton won 3-0 on penalties against Chorley Wanderers (Blues) after a pulsating 4-4 draw. Jack Sofield notched a hat-trick for Chorley Wanderers, Jack Anderton did the same for Fulwood & Broughton. Alexander Green's hat-trick helped Wyresdale to a 5-1 win over Sir Tom Finney.
One fixture in the 𝗦𝘆𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗧𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗖𝘂𝗽, Worden Rangers are through to the Semi-Final, they eliminated Atletico Clifton with goals from Blake Lerning, Danny Rowe, Charley Evans and Tyler Pearson. Worden will next take on the winner of Greenlands versus Astley & Buckshaw Utd, which takes place next weekend.
