We just got our first B2B client. There was a post on Reddit asking for a "Good dictation app for professional marketing people." I replied, explained why we exist, how we are different, and included a brief sales pitch. I also shared my email address. They emailed me, and we had a meeting. I explained our tool, Directories, features, and how it saves time. It was a good conversation. At the end they said, "Okay, give us some time." A week later they purchased a 20 team license. It isn't a huge deal, but it feels significant to get new clients from Reddit. I'm quite active on Reddit for this kind of outreach and didn't expect anything, but sometimes a simple Reddit post works better than a Funnel. You might not think Reddit is a good place, or maybe you think "Reddit is a place where only elite people exist." But it's not like that. Reddit is a really good platform for any new startup because most of the people who post on Reddit are genuine. They are honestly looking for a good tool, a good service, or a real connection.
