Sure so then you basically just have to ask yourself who is more likely to hold up well in a state Trump won by 13 points, a doctrinaire liberal who all the lefty groups love or a guy with a compelling personal story and a history of winning red parts of Iowa. Ymmv.

That was some straight B.S. from the GREAT Geno Auriemma. Never — ever — thought I’d see the day when the greatest woman’s college coach in history would go down so CLASSLESSLY!!! Merrick Garland was such a failure. Biden picked him as AG because he was martyred by McConnell but he was a crappy SCOTUS nominee to begin with. The day we found out he was the nominee I basically threw a tantrum in Reid’s office (@fshakir was there). Reid hated it too.
