@xpertfusion3 My guess is they used nuketown as it fit well to replace the nuked NYC map. They probably ran out of time/resources to develop nuked NYC but wanted to keep the concept of jumping between pre-nuked and nuked versions of the map, so nuketown was a perfect fit

Important to keep in mind, just because this map feels like a "lazy idea" does not mean the developers themselves are "lazy" I see people claiming Treyarch is being "lazy" by doing this but that's clearly not the case. Treyarch has made 5 Zombies modes in the past 6 years. Their resources for making Zombies content was likely spread thing, which leads to them having to reuse significant amounts of content from other parts of the game (in this case, Nuketown) Now, this doesn't mean you aren't allowed to criticize it, of course you are. But try to keep the criticism about the content itself rather than turning it into an unfair and likely untrue personal attack towards the developers. I will say though, I don't get why they chose to reuse Nuketown of all things. I'd rather they take a location from Campaign or Warzone that hasn't been used in Zombies yet. Something like the Avalon Casino would've been cool with me.
