When systems make it harder for families to thrive in ways people feel are unfair, the problem isn't replacement it's the mechanisms which create conditions to limit autonomy. Fix the structures, not blame the people.

Yet from this week, they’ll be paying more in tax so that couples on welfare with four, five, or six children receive more in benefits.
This is not fair. It is not compassionate to make welfare pay more than work.
