@emia_sann @PointmanC Budew has free retreat, free attack, and is a basic so can be placed on the board right away meanwhile this hydreigon is a stage 2 so needs to evolve twice (you can only evolve the pokemon once per turn) items are vital to decks most decks nearly 1/3 of a deck could contain items

@AlexGreninja @PointmanC Can someone explain to me this actually? How is budew better here

I think I'm starting to miss playing card games in the mess hall

@author_pandp @emia_sann @PointmanC Items are vital you can use as many in a turn as you want normally, so some supporters do similar things to some items but are limited to one per turn, budew allows you to stall out your opponent while you set up, so not great in end game but starting with budew is great

@emia_sann @AlexGreninja @PointmanC I assume that preventing opponents from using an item card is more devastating that raw damage output. I played the digital tcg app and in the tutorial battles, you can use items as well as attacking, so preventing item usages is cutting the things you can do in a turn in half.
