This week has been the busiest of my career so far! Successfully interviewed for a Band 6 role which means I will become paediatric dysphagia trained!🍼🍽️🧠 and started my cleft palate speech course @cardiffmet 🗣️📚 all alongside a busy week in clinic😵‍💫 grateful and exhausted😅😴

So grateful to have been invited by @CLAPACOMMUNITY to co-chair a keynote at the @CFSGBI conference yesterday! Also honoured to be the first person with lived experience of cleft lip and palate to do so! Patient representation in these spaces is so important♥️🧠🗣️✨

Lovely presents today from my student at the end of her placement! It was my first time being a practice educator, and it’s helped me feel so much more confident in my own role!☺️♥️ #MySLTDay

First week as an NQP✅ It has been overwhelming to say the least, but made so much easier by the most welcoming team♥️ Looking forward to (and slightly terrified for) my first sessions after the long weekend!!🗣✨ #mySLTday

Feels so surreal to say that we have finished our MSc🎉🥂 it’s been a tough 2 years but we did it!!!🥳 now to relax before starting my NQP role in less than 2 weeks!😧 University of Essex 2020-2022♥️
