Last week we received our first set of A Level results for this academic year and as always, we are very proud of our students’ academic attainment. Congratulations to all of our students and we look forward to receiving more results this week.
Today I observed a Polish lesson (where not a word of English was spoken so I was a tad lost) where they were discussing Dostoyevsky’s crime and punishment. Then I observed an English lesson on the Great gatsby. Both were so much fun to see. 🇵🇱 🇬🇧 @TBSWarsaw
Here’s my recovery plan.
1. Teach everyone as well as you can, in normal school hours
2. Implement your existing curriculum as well as you can in normal school hours
3. Set a stack of nicely varied homework and reading
4. Ignore all the catastrophising and push on.
KS3 students coming up with questions about their passions and working towards answers at the end of the week. Some of our favorites: How is human perception affected by virtual reality devices?
How does reading affect your condition?
@NicksEdTech@TechyLeaderEDU@SethiDeClercq@jgarygarcia@edTechEvans@NicksEdTech really into quizlet - I put the groups into breakout rooms they must collaborate and think about their answers because they don't all have the right answers - going back to zero for one wrong answer also means teams are even because the you never know who will win
