Pathetic loser opines… to keep up the obvious lie that Israel is driving US policy rather than running in parallel, and that China isn’t ecstatic over these events as the US finally leaves its abusive family system relationship with the old Empires of Europe. But, please, keep showing your hand. It makes what comes next so much easier to parse.
Simon Dixon@SimonDixonTwitt

The Final Acts before a deal. It was China’s plan. US will shrink to a regional power. It needs its exit narrative. You are meant to think it’s WW3. Trump is the press secretary. He’s not in charge. And Israel will go along with Chinas plan too. The financial industrial complex is on board. Iran is on board. Russia is on board.

Entourage has to be in the conversation. The pilot dropped you straight into Vince’s world — the Hollywood rise, the crew from Queens, Ari Gold already stealing scenes, and the feeling that anything could happen next. It set the tone for the entire series in 25 minutes: • Fame vs loyalty • Hollywood chaos • Four friends trying to make it without losing who they are And the craziest part? It felt real because a lot of it was — Mark Wahlberg’s early Hollywood come-up inspired the whole thing. The opening episode didn’t just introduce characters. It made you want to live in that world. Still one of the most rewatchable pilots ever.

So this guy dredges this story about the UN up today, a note about the Euro from a year before 9/11, in essence, to accuse the US govt of committing that act of terrorism against its own people for the purpose of justifying going to war against Iraq nearly 3 years later to stop the EU from buying Iraqi oil with Euros? Now, this isn’t the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard but it’s close. Now, what isn’t dumb is during the height of the new Cold War with Russia, after Ukraine’s coup, orchestrated by Vicky the Hutt, Obombya and McInsane the US cuts Russia out of the US dollar system while the EU is helping Russia build Nordstream II to tie Russia’s economic future to the EU and the Euro… to establish the beginnings of the Petro-euro for real. But who fought NS2 the hardest? Poland. It was Poland that delayed NS2 for over three years with legal bullshit. A country whose right-wing populists,PiS, is shot through with none other than London guys like @radeksikorski. Why would London not want NS2? For the same reason they don’t want Trump dismantling their outposts in the Middle East, to keep the great game of geopolitics at high tension, which is how they keep themselves relevant in a world moving away from them. Dearest, dearest Luke. If you want to play geopolitical analyst, you have to put in the time. Know the players. Do the work. Otherwise, leave the agitprop to the pros like @barnes_law and @RealAlexJones unless you’re just like them. They are at least entertaining while they crash out in real time. You? Not so much.

Many on X seem to forget that Europe tried to separate from the US 26 years ago, when the EU arranged for Iraq to sell oil in EUR instead of USD (Source: CNN Int’l👇) The EU would have been independent of the US long ago, but the US stopped that with a snipe hunt for WMD 🤔.

Trump is out here praising Allah and dropping F bombs on Easter, while promoting his peace ultimatum deadline like a pay-per-view fight night, and people still think this war is real as presented to us. Total discombobulation.

Even though this is from an older podcast, Jimmy Carr’s take still hits different: “The Roman Empire didn’t fall. It became the Church.” And the British Empire? According to Jimmy, it didn’t collapse either — it simply turned into a bank. We handed the colonies back with a polite “sorry about that,” then offered to “hold” all their money safely in the City of London. Roman Empire → Vatican British Empire → Global financial hub Empires don’t die. They just rebrand. Still one of the most provocatively entertaining history takes I’ve heard. What’s your favourite “history didn’t end, it just changed form” observation?

Last week the world heard live from US President Donald Trump that the US will not do anything about the partial closure of the Strait of Hormuz, and European allies should sort it out, despite the disruption resulting directly from President Trump's policy to attack and carpet-bomb Iran and its civilians, during ongoing successful negotiations with Iran. Today we see President Trump reversing this policy reversal - he seems to have found the appropriate choice of words for his kind of dialogue. Not entirely expected from the President of a largely Christian country, at Easter, but then again, Trump has stated that he's not a Christian.

I’d push back on this. His intelligence is irrelevant. Until the Internet decentralised content, we were only fed corporate media propaganda. Now we get the conversations we have in the pub, played out in public. Normal people like us have a voice, and we're the ones who ultimately pay when governments choose war and death. We get to collectively say fuck you, I didn't vote for or want this shit.

Theo Von is arguably the dumbest sentient plank of wood in existence. The fact that someone with his level of geopolitical illiteracy gets to sit on the world’s most popular podcast and casually spew that kind of brain rotting nonsense is actually impressive in the worst possible way...
