Hey all, Alex here, I’m 39. And here is my life in a few words 🙂 2005: Started playing poker professionally and kept at it until I was 29. Never had a losing month—definitely not luck or gambling! During that time, I traveled the world 40+ countries and 100+ trips, met the most incredible people (including my brilliant business partner @MirceaJoian ) and made lifelong friendships . 2013: Got married (strong typo)❌ . 2014: Got divorced. (typo fixed ) 😌 . 2014: Quit poker for good to focus on building a business. 🚀 . 2015: Got married again to the girl I was in love with in 6th grade—hadn't seen her in 15 years. 😍 . Later that year: Welcomed my son into the world. 👨‍👨‍👦 Best feeling ever + welcomed the anxiety of being a parent 🥵🤣 . 2017: My daughter was born. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Lots of love 😍and some more anxiety😡 🤣 . 2015-2020: Grew a business to $18MM+ in revenue (mavasports) and sold it to an investment fund from Israel 💵 Spent over $2MM on advertising profitably in the process. . 2018: Launched an e-commerce course that had 500+ students and did $700k in its first launch. 😬 . 2020-2025: Invested in 4 businesses. 💰 First business went bankrupt due to COVID 😿 2nd business struggled because I was spread too thin. 😩 3rd and 4th are now generating between $600k - $1M /year in profit. 💸 . 2025: I’m focusing on writing more, building my personal brand, starting a world-wide community, and investing in other businesses—all while documenting the journey, with the good and the bad. 😍🚀🥂⌛️ And NOW I am Launching my newsletter at ecomhackers.ai A weekly newsletter you'll receive from us every Tuesday. There, we'll discuss: - Business strategies - Artificial intelligence - which, in my view, is bigger than the internet and crypto combined. How we can use AI for business and how we can leverage this phenomenon to adapt quickly rather than being replaced 🙂 - Deep Dives into Marketing and content creation strategies that we discover work in our businesses by spending significant amounts of money - Exclusive Case Studies Annnnd many other things that I'll let you discover on the EcomHackers.ai website! Much love, Alex #BuildInPublic #AIForBusiness #NewsletterMarketing #FounderStories #FounderJourney 🚀🥂⌛️🙂

@TicTocTick That's why I always lump sum buy the S&P on huge drawdowns, with VIX as my compass. But DCA away if you don't have time to watch the market.

If you are a 30 year old, every dollar compounded in s&p500 will become $7 by the time you’re 60. But if you wait 2 year for a 50% sell off, then that same dollar will become $15 by the time you’re 62.

I just found an app that builds n8n workflows from plain English in under 30 seconds. No coding. No webhook debugging. No "let me check the docs." Just: "Build me a lead enrichment system with email validation and CRM updates" → Done. Deployed. Working. I tested it with my team: Junior marketer (zero tech experience): Built a content automation system in 4 minutes that agencies quote $8K for. The app has real-time n8n documentation baked in. It knows every node, every integration, every edge case. Your $12K consultant is probably using this and charging you enterprise prices. I'm not gatekeeping it. Follow me and comment "BUILD" below. I'll DM you the link + 3 workflows you can deploy today. The automation game just changed forever.

why does that happen? I am curious on your take. Lately, I have been thinking that I am having the life I once dreamed of. I have everything I wanted.... maybe even more. I've stopped wanting many things probably because I know I can have them now and because I've grown up I guess...and on top of that I believe the saying "not wanting something is as great as having it" is absolutely true

📰 Retail Buzz: “Made in USA” Hype on Amazon Quickly Fizzles . 📉 Search Spike, Flat Sales Earlier this year, searches for “Made in USA” products on Amazon doubled, peaking at 1.7 million monthly queries. Sellers rushed to update listings with patriotic flags and messaging, betting on a surge of national-pride shopping. But new data from Momentum Commerce reveals a stark reality: even at peak hype, only 1.5% of top-selling items claimed U.S. origin—and actual sales barely moved. . 💡 Consumers Choose Price Over Patriotism Momentum Commerce’s analysis shows the sales bump lasted weeks, not months. Once the buzz faded, shoppers reverted to their top priority: value. A recent survey confirms the trend, 18% fewer consumers now say they’re more likely to buy “Made in USA” compared to 2022. . Amazon’s bestseller average selling prices have been declining steadily since April, signaling a broader shift toward deal-driven shopping. Searches increasingly center on household essentials and budget-friendly alternatives, not country-of-origin. . 🇨🇦 A Note on Canada For Canadian shoppers, “Made in USA” branding can even backfire due to higher duties and shifting political sentiment—another reason not to rely solely on origin-based marketing. . 🛒 Business Takeaways for Amazon Sellers ❌ Don’t Bet on Patriotism Alone: “Made in USA” badges are no longer a reliable sales driver. 💸 Lead with Value: Focus your marketing and product pages on competitive pricing, discounts, and consistent stock availability. 🧠 Test and Adapt: Experiment with new price points and offers to stay ahead of the curve. 📊 Monitor Consumer Shifts: Track emerging buying patterns—value-first thinking is dominating multiple categories. Bottom Line: Price wins. To stay competitive on Amazon and beyond, pivot from origin-focused marketing to value-driven strategies that align with today’s cost-conscious consumers.

Paul Graham once said: “Leverage is what separates great founders from everyone else.” And yet, most operators I know are still sprinting uphill. More ads. More meetings. More burnout. When I scaled MavaSports to 8-figures, the breakthrough didn’t come from hustle. It came from leverage. ⚡️ Insider → “This article would’ve saved me 5 years of struggle.” Here’s what I learned : there are 4 types of leverage you must master: 1. Capital – Multiply proven systems with money. 2. Labor – Free your time by building a smart team. 3. Code + Automations – Work 24/7 without lifting a finger. 4. Brand – Turn trust into momentum. Become unavoidable. Leverage gives you the power to work lighter and longer-term. ✅ If your business can’t run without you… ✅ If you’re still stuck doing everything yourself… ✅ If you’re exhausted and scaling feels like chaos… Then you don’t have leverage. You have a very demanding job. Here’s the article I wish someone gave me 10 years ago. ecomhackers.ai/the-4-types-of… 🎯 You’ll learn: • How to systemize scale without VC money • Real mistakes from real 7–8 figure founders • The invisible forces that create true freedom And it’s free, tactical, and I hope helpful. 👇 Which type of leverage are you doubling down on this quarter? Capital, labor, code, or brand? 👇 I want to focus on personal branding this year because I believe that’s where the highest leverage comes from. We’re lucky to live in a world where all four types of leverage are at our disposal. Let’s use them wisely! → Subscribe here: ecomhackers.ai → Save this post. Re-read it every quarter.

For fellow meat lovers, Fogo De Chao is a hidden 💎 I primarily like it because I can eat how so much I want and usually it costs 75 dollar which is less than if I ordered meat, cooked and then ate it . Great time saving. It’s a great option for one meal a day meat eaters.

My AI predictions (2025-2035) - Agents (agentic software will replace saas & humans at most tasks) - APIs (agents need APIs to interact with each other & legacy systems) - Most humans will act as tools for agents - AI UX will shift to Canvas + Chat I'm building these agents:

Don't copy what's "working" for big creators. They're playing a different game. They have momentum you don't. Your job? To earn it. By testing relentlessly. By showing up every day. By earning attention one reader at a time.

One change turned my LinkedIn into a machine that generates 10M impressions: I hired an agency to revamp my profile. Some of their changes felt nitpicky, but they were powerful: • Use a structured bio • Tell a story, not just facts • Backlink to the right sources I asked the founder of the company I hired to coach my team. Want a recording of the 83-minute session + his step-by-step guide? Comment “LinkedIn” and I’ll send it to you.
