There are 2 extremes when it comes to pickleballs. Franklin X-40 = Softer, slower, more forgiving. LT Pro 48 = Firmer, faster, more pop. Given the big difference in how they play, you should consider which ball you use before you buy your next paddle. bit.ly/PaddleChoice

Do you actually need a third-shot drop? Video review and statistical analysis suggests that the third-shot drop does not have a major impact on matches at the 3.5 level and below. By contrast, the return of serve is much more important. Learn more ⬇️ bit.ly/ThirdShotTake

@Johnny5pointOH Save this tweet and give me the UNDER haha. The other thing with Utah that was stumping me is the rest of the team is all win-now veterans. So they kind of have one foot in both camps … trying to build for future, but three of their starters are toward the end of their window.

@AlexLantz More concerned w Garnett’s doubles results recently tbh. Tama will be better to build around on the left - then figure out who plays better on the right. I’ll go Utah men’s team to go OVER on winning percentage of 57%.

@Johnny5pointOH Tama could be the exception, but in general I felt like teams went overboard in drafting the juniors vs. players we know can compete right now. I believe today was his first ever R64 win in mixed. Loong/Garnett were 16-12 in men’s last year. You think Tama/Garnett do better?

@AlexLantz as fast as Tama is cracking the code for both doubles & singles: imo upside + win-now potential is under valued. plus guaranteed high-level reps and consistent practice time with capable pros? More resources than Hayden had at 15. He’ll gain better partners & play on Sundays.

Can Anna Bright/Hayden Patriquin go back-to-back in mixed doubles? Their win in Mesa over Ben Johns/Anna Leigh Waters was very convincing, and this week we could find out if that was a blip or a real trend. Check out our @PPAtour Newport Beach preview: bit.ly/PPANewportBeach

@ChrisCaliSNS Max of $200,000 can change hands in a player trade. They can make in a 2-player deal and up the amount to $400,000, but that still doesn't get New Jersey their money back for what they just paid for Jorja.

Fives need Jorja, BUT they need ALW next year even more I expect a trade with a lot of cash to get Jorja back
TJ Slattery@TJSlattery

@ChrisCaliSNS Would love to see the financials of any trade. I don’t think it’s happening. 5’s need Jorja.
