FBS has 85 and NIL scholarships to recruit depth at all positions. Which means more depth & maybe less playing time. FCS has 63/NIL scholarships that can be divided up anyway, but only 85 players can be on scholarship. Do you want to be a depth chart filler at FBS or play early at D-II / FCS?
