Choo choo, I'm back on the PT train! 🚆 Went 12-3-1 at Spotlight London, making Top 8 and losing in the quarterfinals to the champ with the coolest Azorius Momo list I've ever seen! What a fantastic weekend 😊

@gabrielstonemt I won't be releasing a fully fleshed out SB guide for meta matchups, but I plan on sharing some solid SB rules based on what I see in games and lists in a quick video. I will try to create and edit the video this week but will not publish it before Friday evening unfortunately

@lalauwba_mtg Yes, more so a quick video deck guide and maybe quick notes on the sideboard plan. I SB mainly based on what I see in games, which I believe is the correct approach given the variety of decks out there with the same overall meta groupings but significant card choice differences

@andrewdreams Pretty much haha 😄 although there is a balancing element of slowing down your opponent post-sideboard, since they can kill pretty quickly too

@AlexMacIsaacMTG Yeah I played it in a challenge last night without testing, 6-1 lost in quarters (both Swiss and t8 loses was to same jeski tablet player), deck was fun, but I agree I found myself boarding out boomerangs most matches. I’m def locked in for cincy.

@zombiemikeyy I think it's a great card, but not for this deck. Including it would involve going down a rabbit hole to be able to spend 5 mana on a n instant spell and it would ultimately just turn into the spellementals or regular izzet prowess build.

@TL_Metne As for the 1 basic Island, that is because I am expecting (although hoping not) to see more Erode in future Jeskai Control lists. There are also the very rare cases of (1) Boros Dragons, (2) Izzet Lessons Land Destruction, and (3) Demolition Field recursion with Icetill Explorer.

@AlexMacIsaacMTG Hey man, I’m a big fan of you and this list. Don’t you miss Burst in the main deck? And when do you bring in this Island?

@TL_Metne Thank you, Thiago! I do indeed like having Burst Lightning mainboard, but it's more my playstyle to go all out on Game 1 and then adjust for Games 2 and 3. This is also assuming closed decklists - for open decklists, I strongly recommend at least one copy of Burst lightning main.
