@Professor_Peter I completely agree, but my concern is more about the audit log failures. The issue isn't just that intelligence built on data that may have been modified without detection could be inadmissible, it's that the intelligence may be wrong. (1/2)

It's intelligence but in order to become admissible to sustain a criminal charge in court a great deal of additional or separate work will be required before something becomes evidence.
