@AlexandratheOT 1. Always ask questions! 2. Keep a little notepad full of abbreviations and any contacts (contacts always come in handy). 3. Keeping notes about the conditions you see will help in your understanding and in other placements. Hope you enjoy it. Medicine is such a diverse area!

@MattHancock @DHSCgovuk Many FIRST doses have been given but the fact remains that a SECOND booster within 21 days is required to achieve the 95% effectiveness. The public are being misled as we are being told the first jab = 90% effectiveness after 12 days. Where is the evidence for this!?

I sent out this tweet at the start of the pandemic, on the first 'clap for carers'. I remain proud to be an OT in the NHS . But I do hope the government will begin to show their appreciation for ALL key workers #payrise #NHS #OccupationalTherapy
