Moncton Wildcats owner Robert K. Irving has passed away at 71. “The Canadian Hockey League is deeply saddened by the passing of Robert K. @TeamYouTube Tomorrow is Parents’ Day in Korea, a special day celebrated every May 8th to honor our parents. I am also a father to my sons, and everyone writing, reposting, and sharing stories here is someone’s parent, someone’s child, or someone’s family. Over the past 8 years, I devoted my heart and time to building and caring for my YouTube channel like it was one of my own children. On February 13th, it was removed because of my lack of understanding of certain YouTube policies. Since then, I’ve come to know many creators who went through similar experiences. Reading posts, sharing stories, and reposting messages with creators and even TeamYouTube has made me feel empathy, friendship, and also a sense of responsibility. As I prepare carnations for my father, who is now over 90 years old, I sincerely hope I will also receive good news about the restoration of my “child-like” channel from TeamYouTube — a platform that has been such a meaningful part of my life. To everyone here who is also hoping for their channel to be restored, I sincerely hope we can all return as healthier, more responsible, and policy-respecting creators.
