Reporters would be less dependent on social media if publications provided them with the time to get out in the world & report. But that’s just not how it works these days.

Very sad to hear about Jason Collins’ passing. I was a huge sports fan at the time & his coming out was kind of a breaking point for me. More athletes & sportswriters like @BuckinBoston were coming out around that time and let me know it was OK to be gay and cover sports.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that I don't get the Logan Square hate. Yes, millennial hipsters are annoying. But they're unavoidable in cities. The gentrification here isn't outlandish or anything that isn't seen elsewhere. I really don't get it.

I love credit card points. Even with outrageous jet fuel prices, I booked a roundtrip flights from Chicago to SF for $11. And I am FAR from a rich person. I just spend my money normally and then get points to travel. It's pretty good!

After doomscrolling all day, I’m now an expert on the Hantavirus. Human to human transmission is rare but not unheard of. There is the Andes virus in Patagonia, which is where this cruise ship took off. People caught it there & spread it to others on the cruise. There you go.
