⚠️BREAKING: A ceasefire for a period of 1 month will be announced according to a mechanism that Witkoff and Kushner are working on, according to Al Arabiya citing Israeli Channel 12: During the ceasefire period, a 15-point agreement will be negotiated, reportedly similar to the frameworks used in Gaza and Lebanon. The reported terms include dismantling Iranian nuclear capabilities, delivering enriched uranium to the IAEA, decommissioning the Natanz, Isfahan, and Fordow sites, and granting full IAEA access. Iran would also abandon its proxy approach, stop funding regional militias, and keep the Strait of Hormuz open without any closure. In return, all sanctions on Iran would be lifted, with support for a civilian nuclear program at Bushehr and a postponement of decisions on the ballistic missile program. WTI crude oil immediately dropped -$4, to $88 per barrel, while US equity futures surged on the news. 🚨None of these reports have been officially confirmed by Washington or Tehran, and Channel 12 did not cite sources. Meanwhile, the New York Times reports the US has sent the 15-point plan to Iran through Pakistan, whose army chief has emerged as the key intermediary between Washington and Tehran. Pakistan has offered to host direct talks between the two sides, with Egypt and Turkey also encouraging Iran to engage. However, it remains unclear whether Israel is on board with the proposal, and Israeli officials have said they expect the war to continue for weeks. Iran may also struggle to respond quickly, as senior officials have had difficulty communicating internally since the strike that killed Ayatollah Khamenei on the first day of the war. The White House confirmed diplomacy is underway but stressed that military operations continue "unabated." If confirmed, this would mark the beginning of the end of the largest oil supply disruption in history.
