Red—it is joy, blessing, and the promise of the New Year.
Red also stands for love, courage, and a warmth worth holding onto, granting people passion, vitality, and the power to shape their own destiny.
20 years ago, on new year's eve, a young boy met a lonely Nian beast in the mountains. They set off firecrackers together, watched the fireworks, and promised to meet again the following year. However... that promise was never fulfilled.
"If new year's eve never had to end... wouldn't everyone be able to stay together forever?"
This is the longing he holds for the past, born of his solitude.
"If happiness doesn't seem to find you, then gather your courage and set out to find it or create it yourself!"
This is the hope he carries for the future, shaped over many years of growing up.
